EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE - 2002


As a result of the IBO Executive Elections held on November 14th at the Shelburne Hotel, we are pleased to announce the 2002 IBO Executive Committee. We look forward to an exciting and prosperous year!


Jim Doran, President
Member Since: 1997

Jim Doran is Director of Commercial Building Management for Trinity Real Estate. In his position he has operational responsibility for 27 buildings and 6 million square feet of commercial office space. Additional responsibility includes Trinity's two historic landmark churches and their adjacent cemeteries.

He is a former board member of NACORE (International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives) and has twice been President of that organization's New York Chapter. Currently he serves on the Board of the Institute for Corporate Real Estate. In 1997 he was honored as NACORE's Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year for the NY Chapter. Jim is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Industrial Development Research Council, the Building Owner's and Manager's Association and the International Facilities Management Association. Jim has been an instructor in real estate and construction for the Institute of Corporate Real Estate. Frequently, he is called upon to speak at real estate industry and related trade group meetings.

In addition to the IBO, Jim is involved with many charitable organizations, including: The Planned Giving and Financial Services Committees of the New York Foundling Hospital, the Financial Services Committee of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Health Care System and the Cardinal's Committee of the Laity.


Philip McGuaran, First Vice President
Member Since: 1991

Philip is managing partner with Belvedere Communications, Inc. a full service international marketing and communications agency helping overseas companies in Travel & Tourism, Food & Beverage and Consumer Productindustries to successfully pursue business interests in the US. Company clients include The Odlum Group, Irish Food Board, Akzo Nobel Decorative Products, Trade International Northern Ireland.

Philip has been involved in international marketing for over 16 years. He has worked with companies selling in Europe and the Middle East and spent six years marketing Irish products in the US with the Irish Trade Board, now part of Enterprise Ireland.

His contribution to the IBO includes an active participant on the Membership Committee (1994-98) and Chairperson of the 21st Century Committee(1999). This Committee produced a discussion report on the future direction of the organization to grow and prosper into the next century.

He looks forward to working with his Executive Committee colleagues and the challenge of building a stronger and viable organization.


Sheila Lynott, Second Vice President
Member Since: 1999

Sheila is an Account Representative with Century Business Solutions which specializes in sales, leasing and service of sharp copiers and fax equipment. Sheila has been actively involved in the IBO Trade Show Committee in 1999 and 2001. She is native of County Mayo.

Sheila served on the 2001 Executive Committee as 2nd Vice President.


Eamonn Condon, Treasurer
Member Since: 1999

Eamonn is Vice President of Business Development for Eircom (US) Ltd. based in Stamford, CT. Eircom performs a dual role in the US: Account managing the 500+ US multinationals already in Ireland and secondly selling Ireland to new companies, as the location from which to enter the European Market. Eamonn is a native of Co. Cork and after completing his degree in Business Studies Degree at the University of Limerick moved to the US in 1994. He currently resides in Yonkers, NY.

Eamonn served on the 2001 Executive Committee as Treasurer.


Coleen Foley, Secretary
Member Since: 1999

Coleen is a Sales Associate for Environmental Waste Management Associates, LLC (EWMA) a full-service environmental consulting and remediation firm specializing in brownfield projects for the commercial and industrial real estate community. In her first year as a member Coleen jumped right in and joined the Gala Ball committee. In the past 3 years she has organized members for participation in the St. Patrick's Day parade and has volunteered at the IBO golf outing. Coleen was recipient of an Arthur Clement's Award in 2000. Coleen also actively participates in the activities of the New Jersey IBO Networking meetings. Coleen is a first generation Irish American. Her father is from Dublin, Cabra.

Coleen served on the 2001 Executive Committee as Secretary

The success and growth of the IBO in the last few years can only be attributed to the overwhelming commitment and spirit of volunteerism of our members. With all of the activities the organization offers it's members and friends, we need your help now more than ever. if you are a new member or an old member looking for a way to get involved start by joining a committee.
