The Irish Business Organization of New York, Inc's 2005 Gala Ball will be held on October 14, 2005 at the New York Hilton. The Annual IBO Gala Ball is a showcase of Irish culture and an eloquent representation of the growth of Irish and Irish-Americans in our area, honoring men and women who have contributed so much time, talent, history and a belief in our strong heritage to make the Irish and Irish American Community in the Tri-State Area what it is today.

We have chosen the New York Irish Center in Long Island City to be the charitable recipient of this year's gala ball. The Center, under the guidance of Father Colm Campbell, is an information center for existing resources and is working to provide what is not available to meet remaining needs. In the light of the high depression and suicide rate in the community, it is vital that such an Irish Center exists and people know they will get any help they may want or need, day and night.
Our Master of Ceremonies for the evening is long-time member and past president of the IBO, Martin Dunne and Andy Cooney and His Showband will entertain us into the early hours of the morning.
