Dr. Ciarán O. Grant
Dr. Ciarán O. Grant is a board certified Chiropractic physician and hails from Dundalk, County Louth. He completed his B.A. in Economics and Sociology at National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Co. Kildare and medical training at New York Chiropractic College.
Community outreach programs within healthcare, education, and the arts have long been Ciarán’s passions. He served as a volunteer community leader for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life campaign in Connecticut and Upstate New York, and helped bring the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI) to Carnegie Hall in 2005 -- serving as Co-Chair of the CBOI NY Executive Committee in 2009 during their performance at Lincoln Center and the Armory in Washington Heights.
As an accomplished creator of interdisciplinary healthcare programs, Ciarán embraces a holistic and integrative approach to patient care. When he’s not treating patients at his office by Columbus Circle, he is developing and coordinating corporate health and wellness programs.

Born and raised in Mineola, NY, his family roots are from County Mayo. A graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA where he studied Finance and Mathematics, he was the treasurer for the class of 2006. He now works for JP Morgan Chase Bank as a Licensed Personal Banker in New York, NY, working with clients on their banking needs. He has been active member of the IBO for several years and involved in many Irish activities. Most recently, he was an Escort in the 2011 Rose of Tralee Festival in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland.

Karl O'Toole
Transatlantic Reinsurance Company
Karl O’Toole is the Membership Officer for the IBO. He has been a member of the IBO since 2007 and served as the Treasurer from 2009 to 2010. Karl was born in Galway City, Galway, where he lived until he was 21. He graduated with a Computer Science Diploma from the Regional Technical College of Galway in 1982. Karl has worked for Transatlantic Reinsurance Company since 1993; he is currently Vice President of Systems. Prior to working for Transatlantic, Karl worked in IT departments for various banking, publishing and insurance companies in Galway, London and New York. He is married to an Irish American lawyer, lives in New York City and Ancramdale, New York.

Niall O'Kelly

Niall is a native of Patrickswell in Limerick, and has been in New York since 2007 having won permanent residency through the Diversity Visa Lottery. Trained as a graphic designer in DIT, he worked in Dublin for 4 years before arriving in New York. Having worked in a variety of studios in the first year to learn about New York design industry, he settled in MSDS inSoHo, working with them as their senior designer for 3 years. With the recession claiming his position, he founded okellydesign in June 2009, thus also fulfilling a long-term wish. The business is now 2.5 years old and growing from strength to strenth, winning multiple awards and new clients each year. Many clients have been found through the IBO and from whom referrals can be sought.
