Debra Anderson is founder of CSM and a dynamic innovation consultant and strategist for a select client list of digital artists, technology companies, international government agencies and science research facilities.

She has directed an array of communications projects including campaigns for New York’s Jonathan LeVine Gallery and Tribeca Enterprises. CSM promotions have been successful for acclaimed curatorial exhibitions including Ruas de São Paulo: A Survey of Brazilian Street Art, Shepard Fairey's E Pluribus Venom, and The Creators Series, produced by Tomorrow Unlimited. From 2008 - 2010, Shepard and Amanda Fairey selected Culture Shock Marketing as the official firm of record to handle public and media relations for their newly relocated Los Angeles-based gallery, Subliminal Projects.

Known for her creative approach to marketing and public relations, Ms. Anderson has implemented successful campaigns for clients at on both coasts of the United States and internationally in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland and Brazil. She has spearheaded art industry marketing campaigns for Scope Miami (2005), Bridge Art Fair (2006),  Art Now Fair (2007), and Gen Art Vanguard Art Fair (2008) during Art Basel Miami Beach. In 2010, Anderson extended the reach of CSM by securing new clients from the worlds of science and technology, including representation of Belfast-based award winning computer artist Glenn Marshall, Los Angeles-based visual effects artist Scott Pagano, automated rotoscoping company Toonamation, and the CINEMA Microscopy lab at Yale University School of Medicine.

In Spring 2010, Anderson launched several initiatives to further build CSM’s brand nationally and internationally. She partnered with the Scope Art Show in New York for CSM VIP collector tours, launched Creative Week in New York City with a CSM sponsored opening exhibition and party, partnered with the Volta6 art show in Basel Switzerland and hosted a VIP cocktail party for the artist 101love.  Anderson’s unique experience, which encompasses advertising, film, art and motion graphics, has cemented her as a highly sought-after innovation consultant for top-level international clients.

Anderson has also worked closely with leading artists on projects designed to brand their studios. Her curatorial contributions include the twenty-year anniversary exhibition, Andy Warhol: In His Wake at Carrozzini von Buhler Gallery and Factory Craze: Week of Warhol at the Gershwin Hotel. She has also curated artist exhibitions at the original Andy Warhol Factory on 860 Broadway.

Anderson has worked on several successful art auctions and fundraisers, building partnerships between for-profit and not-for-profit organizations including Brazil Foundation, Mercy Corps, Mentoring USA, Plays for Progress and The Pure Project.
