About The Course. The Links at Union Vale, with its high grass, natural brush and gorse and the wind that blows across the wide, sweeping fairways gives the course a real links looks and feel. Complimenting this are three lakes, 110 bunkers and breathtaking views of the surrounding woods and mountains. Designed by architect Stephen Kay and developed by the Irish golfers Association, this par 72, 7000 yard championship course features an assortment of challenging holes, includes a group of long par fours on the back nine that defines this spectacular highly rated course. The links was again selected by the USGA to hold the 2006 US amateur sectional qualifier.
