Mary
Snow is a New York-based correspondent for CNN's
The Situation Room.
She also contributes to CNN's news coverage on several of the network's
programs, covering a broad range of topics. She has covered stories
ranging from the Martha Stewart trial to the Terri Schiavo cases to
politics, security issues and the economy. Most recently, she covered
the devastation to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Snow joined
CNN in July 2002 as a financial correspondent for CNNfn and, in 2004,
joined Wolf Blitzer Reports.
Previously, she covered the markets at the New York Stock Exchange
for Yahoo's pioneer webcast, FinanceVision.
Before she began her reporting career, Snow held various reporting
and writing positions, including work at ABC NewsOne and Bloomberg.
Her first television job was with WPIX in New York, where she won
two Emmy Awards.
Snow earned a her bachelor's degree in political science from Fordham
University.

2007 MEMBERSHIP DUES
The membership will be voting at the January meeting to
determine whether a dues increase can be implemented for 2007. The IBO dues
have not increased for several years and are well below those of other business
networking organizations. Please attend the November meeting if you wish
to vote on this issue.

If you have a career that you would like to develop further, run an enterprise that you would like guidance on, or simply would like a wise and unbiased head to turn to - the IBO Mentoring Program could be the answer. We have access to experienced individuals both within and outside the IBO who have offered to act as Mentors to our members.
The Program is free to IBO members and is totally confidential.

You can post your own items and read those posted by other members. This is a new area so initially there will be only a few items there. However, the more you use it, the more useful it will become! So please post about any non-IBO events that you wish to publicize, post job opportunities that you hear about, and indeed anything else pertinent. This is YOUR area. Please use it and read it every time you come to the website.
- Success Stories
One hears of many success stories of how membership of the IBO has led to new business, a new job, etc. We are seeking to collect these so that they can be used as ‘sales points’ to attract and retain members.
